Does anyone know anything about Malaysian child support laws ???

My ex wife (although we're not divorced yet) is making unreasonable demands regarding child support for our 6 year old girl I have seen once since birth, she went back to Malaysia. I have only received 2 photos in that time yet she expects me to cough up for her up keep. Its not that I dont want to support my child, I do but how can I be sure if I send money it will get spent on her and not wasted on crap by her mother ? I have a trust fund over here set up for my daughter so I am taking care of her in my own way, where do I stand with regards having to send her mother money to Malaysia. Help !!!!
