I have a problem with my heating boiler(old hot air blowing)i tuned i the gas off in the summer .now i can ?

now i can not keep it going.the pilot light dos not come on.there is a (W,R) ons.i pressed the Red on for 15 sec and try to light with a candle ,but it not.can some one help me please.
