Question for Pro Iraq War supporters?

The political situation in Iraq should be a rabble of defeated Ay-rabs starving to death in the desert while the US occupies the oilfields and operates military bases with a strategic advantage over all the middle east. Unfortunately that's not the way it's going to turn out. Iraq is another Vietnam to prove that limited war against a government with love toward the citizenry does not work. If we aren't prepared for total war we should just cut our losses and go home. Sure there will be a blood bath when we go, but it's happening already on a smaller but prolonged scale. The US hasn't fought a war to win since WW2. That includes Korea, Vietnam, Lebanon, Somalia and twice in Iraq. We should knock of the pretense of war and just go home.
