Popular shoe brands that offer arch support?

I have been wearing converse pretty much every day for about a year now, and I have begun to notice a pain in the arch of my foot, as well as "pump bumps" on the back of my heel from the rough canvas. Which popular brands (like Puma, Keds, etc) offer cute shoes that have arch support and a nice soft, cushy back for my poor bumpy heels? Not the bulky, exercise shoes, but slimmer, everyday ones, preferably... :) Thanks
