What to do when your 3yo can beat the child locks?

the repetition of bad behavior could have a lot to do with having a different punishment everytime. she will test you to see IF she will get punished and what it will be next. there isnt a lot you can do. my son beat the child proofing at 1 and it was hell, still is. but the best thing to do is keep things that can harm her very high. on top of the fridge is usually a good place. if you can, install locks on rooms like the bathroom that she might have easy access to things like chemicals. heavy locks high up she WILL NOT be able to get past although it is an inconvience. safety should always be first. if she gets into the fridge there is prolly away to lock that too but it would be better to catch her doing it and punish her the same way each time. be consistent, get on her level and eventually she'll learn.
