Does he love me or not?

Okay , so theres this guy , hes like my best friend! Last week , we confessed to eachother that we loved eachother. So , he told me he loved me before he left , for 2 weeks. When he comes back he talks to me , normally. My friend started talking to him && she said , it dosent seem like you love mel , he said he did. But he never told me again and im not sure. I asked him too , he said he did. Help?!
