If you know your music from the 70's, 80's, and 90's, don't you think you should help me out?

Okay so, for Christmas I want to buy my dad a CD collection or something. He is big on Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, U2, The Beatles, Jon Lennon, The Doors, Cream, The Eagles, Neil Young, ect. ect... I've been looking for a CD that includes a lot of the following bands and more, or maybe even a collection of CDs that has a few good bands on them... I would like to get it at Target or a local store, so if you have any ideas on CD's that are worth buying, help me out here.:)
